#OptOutside Balsam Lake Mountain Hike

Join me on and out-and-back hike up Balsam Lake Mountain! Here are the details…

What do I need to know?

• this is an 4.5 mile out-and back hike

• moderate difficulty - the trail isn’t technical but there is a steady incline the whole way

• dogs are welcome on leash

What should I bring?

• plenty of water

• snacks or lunch

• a source of light (headlamp or flashlight)

• layers (avoid cotton! I suggest a base layer, something cozy to insulate you, and a water resistant top layer)

• sunscreen

• hat / gloves / neck gaiter or scarf

• extra socks

• something comfy for the drive home (it sucks driving in wet clothes!)

There is a limit of 10 participants, but we need at least 5 to run this! I will send an email out the day prior with safety / general info. See you soon!
